Bringing communities together

The new DLR community conference for geodata: on land, at sea and in the air.

Over 20 DLR research institutes + 3 days: knowledge transfer, expo, networking.

How do we want to make the best possible use of the digital transformation for geo-relevant topics such as transport, energy, space, aviation and security? How do we want to manage the heterogeneous and enormous amount of available data and make it available as required? And how do we want to integrate and network de facto technologies?

These and many other questions will be answered at the new international DLR community conference: the DLR International Conference on Geoinformation Data, Processing and Applications (GeoDPA).

The conference programme:

inspiring keynotes on space, aeronautics, energy, transport and security, followed by interactive poster sessions;
EuroGEO activities and objectives as well as the GEOSS and FAIR data principles;
an overview of current DLR project presentations on geodata from German and European initiatives like DLR “Digital Atlas 2.0” and “EmissionsLandKarte (ELK) ”
panel discussions with academics, industry and policy makers;
VIP science interchange: Professionals meet young researchers and students on 23 April 2024 10-12 am;
conference dinner on 24 April 2024;
guided tours to DLR institutes and research infrastructures.
