Mission: Future.
In 2026, DLR is again the largest institutional exhibitor at ILA. Across approximately 500 square metres, DLR will present diverse insights into its current research activities at Stand 300 in Hall B, in the Space Pavilion and at the stand of the Federal Ministry of Research, Technology and Space (BMFTR, Stand 301). Part of the DLR research fleet will also be on display on the ILA Plaza and the Static Display – including the ISTAR research aircraft, a Dassault Falcon 2000LX.
The International Aerospace Exhibition (ILA) is one of the world’s most significant trade fairs in the aerospace sector, bringing together topics from aviation, space and defence as well as the supply industry, innovation and future technologies. This year, ILA Berlin will take place from 10 to 14 June 2026 at the Berlin ExpoCenter Airport (BER). Under the motto #PioneeringAerospace and with additional themes including Suppliers, UAS, Start-ups and Talent Hub, ILA offers a comprehensive overview of current activities in the international aerospace industry. The exhibition brings together industry, politics, research and defence, and offers a diverse programme of exhibitions, conferences, workshops and B2B opportunities, as well as static and flying displays featuring aircraft and space technology. The European Commission is once again a strategic partner of ILA Berlin in 2026.
DLR is once again represented at ILA Berlin 2026, presenting a wide range of research topics and projects from aeronautics, space, security and examples of DLR’s activities in the field of innovation and transfer. In addition to the DLR stand (300 in Hall B), DLR topics can also be found in the Space Pavilion (theme: ‘Space4Future’), at the stand of the Federal Ministry of Research, Technology and Space (BMFTR), outdoors on the ILA Plaza and the Static Display, as well as in the Talent Hub for early career recruitment.
